lol very subtle Gretchen the other site did get a bit addictive but I will be back here more often too many colleagues on the other site so its getting a bit too much

Okay, so subtly is not my strong suit...

You have colleagues and I have family members coming out of the woodwork. Trust me, they won't find us here!!!! It's our own secret refuge!!

BTW - thank you so much for the Q&A response!!! You are the first for this go-around! Great answer - one I had not though of before. ;)

Congratulations on the new job, the visit home and now the new housing! You have been busy!

Thanks!

The Q&As are really quite simple - just have a set time limit (and a few other minor guidelines). They work very well on TravelBlogs (called panel discussions over there) and people like contributing to them as they don't require more than 200 words. Hell, Sam answered the first one here with a mere 27 word count.

Sounds good - I'm in. I'll aim to do it this week. How often are they happening?

The current one ends December 8th. The next one is planned for December 10th. But, I'll extend the deadline so it doesn't end on Christmas Day. (Mainly because I'll be stuck in Chicago on the 24th and 25th.)

The TU Q&A Thread and TU Q&A Blog - they both contain the guidelines though the blog is more in depth.

I look forward to your responses! ;)

My excuse is redundancy, moved country, moved house, job searching, working (where l cant access TP cos its seen as a "dating" site - dont ask me! cant access that other site either!), my laptop is not working and Pauls is rubbish (but lm using it anyway!).

PLUS lve done very little travelling lately - life getting in the way unfortunately but been exploring lots of amazing places in the UK however - New Forrest in Hampshire is possibly thee most idylic beautiful places lve ever been in my life.

I do miss TP and the old days - but l do check in every so often - especially when the rally call home comes in and Nikki usually echos it too!

ANYWAY - how the hell is everyone?

PS - Beerman - got your mail about the hacked hotmail account - THINK got that one under control - make any money out of the working from home schemes???!!!! xx

The other response is "would you like some cheese with that whine?" (Sure, a nice Fontiago would be good.)

Don't even get me started on crap internet.

At least you know you'll always be welcomed here at home. Pumpkin pie, anyone? Maybe some leftover turkey and gravy? Damn, now I'm hungry.

I'm afraid I've been one of the lost souls.... The last year has been too hectic. Things are little bit quieter now, but I still have lots of loose ends to tie up. Don't be a stranger people !
