Dear All

Do migration agents send the document off on your behalf or just advise you what to send? We have to send our info off soon to meet the deadline in good time so not sure we have time to correspond with agent. We are sending everything we have that has been requested from myself and my partner. Is there a recommended way to organise the info when it is sent?

Many thanks

You can usually do all the work yourself (though knowing which country you are from and where you are trying to apply for a visa would help), but migration agents should obviously know the rules a lot better, so they can help ensure things are written/documented in a way that's more likely to get them approved. They often also have connections inside the embassy so they'd be able to call someone if things are taking time etc.

But if you have a pretty strong case, have filled in all the documents that need filling in, and are confident you have a good shot as is, then I probably wouldn't use one.
