Our first leg of RTW means a couple of days stop over in Los Angeles.

Can anyone recommend any half decent places to stay.
Dont want to spend a fortune (obviously). But dont want to end up in the 'Ghetto'.

Also, recommended places. Booked online/telephone??

Cheers,

R

If you care to throw caution into the wind, check out priceline.com. It's good way to find rooms. On the location portion, choose area's like Santa Monica, Downtown LA, or the airport. To be honest, even the "ghetto" too isn't bad! You haven't lived until u ate at Rosco's chicken N' Waffles! Or Okey Dogs??Damn Good!! Great.. now I'am hungry!!

You might look at www.at-la.com, it has links directories of hotels in the LA area. Look in the site's "business" section.
