Hi NYER,

I can confirm that Peep thai is the final decision for our meeting point tomorrow night. I am not able to do pre drinks before dinner but please feel free to make any arrangements you like.

At this stage there are 7 confirmed attendees including myself and we have all agreed to meet at Peep Thai, 177 Prince Street tomorrow at 7.30. the good news is that i have already phone them and they mentioned they won't be busy tomorrow night and will be able to fit us in, regardless of how many there are. Also, it is quite a small place, with a nice bar at the front. They won't seat us until we all arrive, so if we can all meet at the front bar (very easy to find each other-and we will all be on our own) it should be fairly easy.

I have set up a FB event with all the details, but my previous post includes all the relevant information.

See you all tomorrow night!

gina.

Hi Em,

I am wondering what the grand holiday plan is now? Seems like you received many responses so I would love to join some of you if you plan to do something on Christmas Eve in NYC. B-friend and I had planned to spend this weekend doing fun things but we broke up a few days ago and I need to stop brooding about it. Boowho!

Hello Everyone,

I recently found that I'll be unable to travel home to see my family this year, so I'll be spending the holiday alone and thought I'd see how others were celebrating in similar circumstances. I've been living in New York for a few years now, so I'm not exactly traveling, but rather found this discussion by a quick Google search. Still, I'm impressed that so many want to try and get together for the holiday. I'm a graduate student at a research university and I have several writing deadlines early in the new year which are keeping me here, but I thought I'd see what I might otherwise do to get through the holiday. At any rate, if it would be okay to join, I should be able; most of my friends have already left for Europe or elsewhere in the States, so I'd otherwise be by myself. Anyway, best of luck traveling with the unfortunate weather conditions and I hope something works out!

Cheers,
Daniel

Hi all,

I'm very impressed that a plan was made so efficiently and so soon! I would really love to join tonight but I don't think I can make the 7 pm dinner. I would definitely be interested in joining for drinks later or perhaps any events planned for tomorrow? I'm a 24 year old female and I've been living in NYC now for about 5 years. This is the first year I decided not to spend it with family in Boston and since most of my friends here are also out of town, I would love to meet others that are interested. Any ideas? I was thinking a Christmas brunch or dinner would be nice if there is anywhere open...

Hope to hear from you guys soon,
Anna
