ps: The US needs to incorporate this Boxing Day thing. Okay, this year it falls on a Sunday. Does that mean those of you who recognize it get Monday off work because it fell on a weekend day? Just curious. We'll share July 4th with you!

Monday is a public holiday because Christmas fell on a Saturday (not that anything was open on Christmas). So Tuesday is a public holiday because Boxing Day fell on the Sunday. And next Monday will also be a public holiday because New Years day will be on a Saturday. Holidays all round

oh i miss this !!!! thats the way it is in Ireland but not here in the Netherlands ....if you're public holiday falls at the weekend you lose it

But Happy Christmas and wishing you all a fantastic new year

Happy belated Christmas and a happy last week of 2010...;)
S*cks doesn't it with that weekend public holiday thing. And I have so little vacation days in the first place

Thank you for reminding me about your lack of holidays i'm totally jealous of that

If it would be possible, I would surely give you a week of mine;)
But only you, because you live in Utrecht

Oh, cut me some slack you two... You both get more vacation time individually than Beerman and I get combined. Can I have some cheese with that whine?
