Hi,

I am also looking for an amazing adventure - cant beat being spontanous. I havent been travelling ever before and will be going on my own (pretty scared) but am just going to have to do it...

In regards to the working visa - i dont have much cash so am intending on working my way round!! Havent booked my tickets yet but was thinking of flying to perth first.

Has everyone booked return tickets? or just booked a ticket out there?

I'm 26 and bored of spending my days sitting in an office - Bring on the sunshine and adventure !!

Thanks

Sarah

I'm just going to book a one way ticket so it gives me flexibility while I'm out there as I would like to do asia (money depending) but i will check that out when I get there, depending on the people I meet and where they are heading but I'm just going to go with the flow!

Nah, you can't buy open tickets these days. Most airlines are flexible though so when you book your flight just make sure it can be changed (although the fee isn't always what it will be, you may need to upgrade to the next fare level if the flight is busy) can you tell i work in travel? Haha! Anyway, if you don't know what your doing about returning you can always just book a one way flight, this is what i have done.
I plan to head up to Brisbane for the end of May, but not looked into accommodation yet.

I've just booked my one way ticket today!!! eeekkkkk so I fly 2nd April to sydney, I am going to look into hostels soon. STA travel recommended a hostel called wake up in sydney, it's one of the best one apparently!

I just got a one way ticket, less to worry about having to change flight dates,
As I may leave from a different city.

Does anyone know where a good place to get Insurance from,
Is Insure and go aright?? I have no clue about this part,

Not sure what hostel yet but thanks for the hostelworld.com checking that out,

Good news you got your ticket lucy
