Anyone know any guides to great old hotels in the United States? I am from San Francisco and have fallen in love with the old hotels we have here - stained glass windows, soaring ceilings in the dining rooms and lobbies, and always great service. I am going to travel this summer and would like to stay in others.
On the east coast, the Greenbrier in West Virginia. click here
On the west coast, the Mission Inn in Riverside, California. A classic hotel with amazing tile work and authentic Tiffany stained glass windows. click here
Both are highly recommended.
