Hi everyone

So we're just in the process of getting our flights sorted for our round the world trip! We've searched high and low for the best deals/ quotes etc and are finding it reeeeally hard to make a decission on what company to go for. Can anyone recommend the best travel agents for RTW flights?

Heres our route: ( very simple but its our first time doing the rtw trip so thought it might work out easier)

London - Bangkok - Sydney - New zealand - Fiji - London.

This is the shell of our trip, we're gonna be doing some major backpacking in each of the destinations above so if anyone has any advice on things to see/do in each of these destinations that would be fab. We're really new to the whole travelling world and want to see as much as we can in the 12 months that we're away.

Really excited to hear what people have to say!

thanks :)

Charley n Mike

Hi Charley and Mike!

I'm doing my first RTW trip this year with a friend... VERY excited!

We booked flights with STA, our route is...

London - LA - New Zealand - Australia - Singapore (overland) Bangkok - London...

and all flights together cost around £1100 each!

When are you looking at going?

Thanks Adam, thats such a good price when are you planning on going? think that might have a lot to do with how much the flights are gonna cost. we went to STA last weekend actually and got a quote for £1350 ... your route sounds pretty much the same as ours just the other way round.
we're planning on going in november so got ages to go!

how about you? have you had any other quotes so far?

Yeah i'm looking at STA for my RTW trip too, they're cheap as hell for students and young people. :)

We've booked those flights dude... fly to LA on 19 June! Booked them back in August I think, and was told they were cheap because of how early we were booking.

How long are you going away for? Ours is about 10 months in total :)
