Bit of a panic!

I've been granted a years sabbatical - leaving in May on a RTW ticket. Just wondering does anyone know of any cheap storage solution places, so I can box up everything (no furniture, just clothes, TV, computer...) that won't cost the earth??

Yeah a couple of friends have suggested dividing everything up between friends. Otherwise..... :) have found the cheapest places are: Loknstore, Readysteadystore & Alligator Selfstorage at about £240ish for 6 months including rental, padlock & insurance. Might be worth seeing if there's a branch near you? I'd pay 6 months straight, then see what happens when I get out there as im hoping to get a job in Oz.

You're lucky your sisters happy to take your stuff. My Dad doesn't want any of it

Also!! When getting quotes...let them know if you've had cheaper quotes as a couple of mine ended up battling it out in a price war and in this day and age it pays for them to be competitive :)

Ahh nice one! Well when I say I've got my sisters, I mean i'd have to dump it all in a hired van in Edinburgh and then drive over on a ferry to Ireland and that is not ideal and way too much hassle. Humm ya hassle..the more I think about it! :(
I haven't even checked since i've been last on this despite wanting to get myself sorted!

I'll definitely check out those places and keep your advice in mind though. I'll be back this link if I get any further forward!

CHECK the internet, yellow boxes storage houses, you can get some great deals, from £10 per month, it is cheaper the longer you take, big yellow storage, BIG QUESTIONS, do you need to store everything, definately would consider downsizing.
