<< Passport holders from Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore are permitted to enter Cambodia without visa. The Laotians, Malaysians and Singaporeans are allowed to stay for up to 30 days, excepted for the Filipinos where only 21 days are allowed. If they wish to stay longer, they have to apply for an extension from the Immigration Office, No. 5, Oknha Mean Street, Phnom Penh, before the expired date of the visa. >>

There got many travelling agents run direct buses from HCMC to Siem Reap.

For me which cost for 20$, just early of this month.

Hi,

I know it has been a while since someone posted here.
Just wondering how did it go for the folks who were planning to go. I am going myself in 2 weeks and will also be looking to go from Saigon to SiemReap by bus. However a bit concern because I've read the bus ride can be rather uncomfortable (terrible roads), etc.

Any tips? I dont plan to stop at PP because only have 4 days.

cheers

i just came back from saigon this morning.

From saigon i went to siem reap by mekong express limousine bus..You can avail ur ticket from their office in pham ngu lao area, worth 22usd (for 1 way- hcmc to sr)..the roads are ok except those roads near the border of bavet, cambodia. but its tolerable,..Travel hour is almost 14hours..from 7am to 9pm, based on my experience, coz it's raining in cambodia and hcmc in the afternoon.

Hi Denisse,

cheers and hope you enjoyed... any tips for saigon or SR are much appreciated.

just dnt trust motorcycle drivers in saigon.they will chrge u triple..if ur going on city tour just book a tour guide..u can ask ur hotel to make the bookings or u can do it urself. many travel agencies in pham ngu lao area..if ur going on city tour by walking.ahaha.break a leg.even with the maps, streets are really confusing..city tour is 8-10usd, mekong delta is 9-10usd for 1day tour.
