OOOOOh how I want to escape from work!!!! I want to give it all up and head out on the road for an undetermined amount of years and see it all. I have taken some small trips in the past and seem to get a little lonesome. I have wanted to do it for years. Is there anybody out there on the road right now that I can chat. I am not as young as i use to be. I am a little worried about that factor.

Hi Shocka,

If you feel that way - why not do it? What countries did you have in mind?

Hey guys , im about to turn 18 and am really looking to hit the road and go round europe for an unlimited anount of time.
I have a good set of defininite locations , but am easy going and open to suggestion etc.

I really just want to throw myself into it and see where I end up.

So far I have only planned to go solo due to a lack of like minded people.

I would be doing it on a tight budget , going from place to place as and when.

I would love to hear from similar first timers , or even experienced people who are touring europe on a shoestring sometime this year.

Any other people looking for companion or peoole who can offer advice etc ,please reply below , everything is much appreciated.

thanks ,

hey guys,

love hearing about all ur plans and glad there are other people in the same frame of mind as myself. I am heading out in sept'11 to japan for a couple of months and then on to china and the rest of SE asia (HK, thailand, malaysia and cambodia). Am looking to go from anywhere between 6-10 months if not longer, funds providing of course. If anyone is thinking a similar plan or going to be around at the same time would love to hear from you.
