Reminds me of some travellers I met in Australia. Two of them got arrested for peeing on the sidewalk (girls), pretty much 2 metres from the cops... I think they got off light in the end though.

Couple of dutchies I vaguely knew tried to set fire to a nightclub. Their arrest resulted in attempted manslaughter charges; so much for that backpacking trip!

I do not actually remember doing it but I fell off my balcony in Greece from the first floor. As I said I do not remeber, the evidence was a broken sun lounger 1 floor below, and one mother of all cuts on my side!! That still didnt stop me doing it the next night again.. i mean getting drunk!!

The only two things i can possibly say at this point are:

1. It wasn't my fault.
2. You can't prove anything.

In Seville 2 years ago for the Uefa cup final, when Celtic were beaten by FC Porto, we had a camper van in town and were staying out in a campsite in the environs, i spent all day on the cerveza and remember jumping up and down with about 5,000 other Celtic fans outside the cathedral swinging my green and white hooped shirt around over my head like a lassoo. I was too drunk to realise that my pals was driving around looking for me, hence the surprise on my face and the faces of those around me when two pairs of arms reached out the window of a passing Mercedes camper van and pulled me through the gap. Without a doubt the best holiday of my life, there will never again be a festival like it, 100,000 Celtic fans travelled to Seville for that match and there was not one arrest, the FIFA Fair Play Award that year was won by the Celtic fans in Seville of which i am proud to say i was one. I wish we'd beaten that diving, crying Porto team though.

Bitter, me..noooooo?

I think the funniest thing that ever happened to me drunk on holiday (although there have been many other instances, I just seem to get myself in situations!) was in Thailand with my boyfriend.

We were both rather drunk after drinking shed loads of Sangsom whiskey, we wandered into a bar in Bangkok and it happened to be a go-go bar. All the girls in there screamed in welcome, we thought 'what friendly girls'! By the time we sat down and ordered drinks, it became apparant that they weren't girls at all...every single one of them were ladyboys. Two of them started to try and show me where they had had the operation by pulling their knickers down and wanting me to feel their breasts to show that they felt 'real'.

Ok, so we drank our drink as fast as we could and made our way out of the bar. I was going first and my boyfriend was following, I turned around to talk to him once I was out of the bar and the curtain had closed behind him and he'd disappeared! I poked my head inside the curtain only to find him surrounded by 4 ladyboys who had managed to get his jeans round by his ankles and were starting on his boxer shorts. I did contemplate leaving him there to see what would happen, but seeing the look of horror on his face I thought I had better grab him and pull him out! Thinking about it always brings a smile to my face! Needless to say we were very careful where we went from then on!

The worst thing was when we returned to the UK and told his boss what had happened (he knows Thailand really well), he knew what bar we were talking about and said he went there all the time!

One night in Amsterdam I was out with a few people I had met in the hostel where I was staying. We got a little drunk. I was probably the worst off of everyone. When we got back to the hostel, I quickly got undressed and passed out. I woke up a few hours later..well during the night sometime, I don't know exactly when. I know I didn't feel well and I think I must have thought a shower would wake me up a little, get the blood moving and sober me up a bit. I wondered to the showers for that reason where I passed out again. The showers were in a common room that everyone in the hostel used. The next thing I knew I was being shaken awake by two of the girls I had gone out with the night before. I had passed out in a chair by the sinks, shower running, completely naked and a towel over my head. Breakfast was a little awkward. Haha!
