Anyone have any good routes for Oz, i am completely new to it all and just want to start planning a route for myself, have something solid to work with to give me the push to go!

I want to realx on the beaches, experience a different lifestyle, just generally chill and see some good things, make the most of the 3 weeks that i (hopefully)will be there in October!

this will determine if i want to travel, just need a little taster first-to calm the nerves!

If you're limited to three weeks I would try and get a flight with a couple of internal flights included and maybe see some of the East Coast (maybe Cairns to Brisbane) then maybe fly to the Red Centre and then finally Melbourne or Sydney. If you can I would try and go for longer than three weeks though as I can pretty much guarantee that once you get there you'll want to stop a lot longer.

I totally agree with Emmett, 3 weeks is not enough!

If you're into beaches I'd defiantly recomment the Gold Coast (About 1 hr south of Brisbane) and Byron Bay which is another hr or so south across the border into New South Wales. Of course you'll have to check out Sydney and Melbourne. If you're into history then the out back (Alice Springs, etc) would also be worth a look.
Out domestic flights arn't as cheap as europe but if you book a few weeks ahead they're not to bad.
