there are volunteers organisations - if you want to make money you need work permit (not easy).

The Thais are requiring a work permit for foreign volunteers. They take this seriously. You can be jailed, fined and deported for working w/o a permit. Give this some serious thought before jumping into volunteering.

In Thailand "volunteering" is considered "work"...so you need a permit. Whether paid or unpaid...its "work" by Thai definition. You need a permit. Work with the appropiate volunteering agencies to get you a permit. Good idea though...any help will be appreciated....so will the permit be!
