This thread is marked as being about Bristol

HEY! I'm from south europe, Serbia. My dream is kinda to live in UK, Bristol. I think that UK is a great country and I would love to live there. I've been searching on the internet and found a lot of people telling that Bristol is great city to live in. It's not so expencive. (that's how they say). I'm young and I've been thinking about this even I'm old enough. So if someone could please tell me something more about life in England and suggest me some good city's to live in. The thing's I need are good nightlife, good schools and not so expensive houses. I hope I'm not looking for too much

And please could you explain me more about how you can apply for life in England and little more about that proccess :)

P.S. Sorry for bad grammar :)

Bristol is generally a good city. Quite big to have everything you need but relatively small compared to many British cities. What kind of job do you want in Britain? Cities in the north (Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Liverpool) may be cheaper to stay in. Tom

There are many different ideas of where the line between north and south lies, but I've never heard of anyone suggesting that Cardiff is in the north before.
