I'm Amy 22, I am planning to go to Thailand in September too but by myself, I would go to Australia after a couple of months in Thailand. I am way to scared to fly out there by myself though, I know you meet so many people out there but it's the going out there and arriving in Thailand not having a clue where you are or what to do that scares me!

Anyway, hopefully u understand where I'm coming from!

Good tip LLQ - was planning to head to Sabah anyway........Sepilok specifically, to see and maybe volunteer with the orang-utans....makes it all the more desirable to know it's got great beaches too!!!
