Hi

The UK has beautiful landscape over most of the country - I'd say particularly Cornwall, Isle of Wight, west Wales and I imagine Scotland too, all have quite dramatic landscapes on the Coasts.

There is so much to see it's hard to pin point just a few, but of course you must visit London, if you like historic buildings Hampton Court Palace is particularly good and better than the Tower of London, which everyone goes to. Also if you're near London in the summer I'd suggest a trip to Brighton - it has a lot going on there and is wonderful in the sun.

As for money, the UK can be quite expensive, but I have no idea how much you should take, or how much you are likely to spend.

Britain has bags of wonderful scenery all over. The main places are The Lake District which I would say is probably the best or the Scottish Highlands and islands which are stunning but alot further out and maybe more difficult to get to for you. Others are the Peak District , Cornwall and pretty much most of Wales.

Where you go will probably be influenced the most by where you stay. If you plan to travel around and stay in different places then you will definitely get the most out of the country. But if you stay solely in London for example, it isnt the best place for accesing the famed landscapes from.

Wales, particulary around Snowdonia in the the North is another very good one, and not far from Towns like Conwy and Caernarfon with their impressive Castles.

I would start your visit further North, maybe fly to Scotland and then move South to London and fly home from their if possible.

That way you will see could see Scotland, The Lakes, The Peak District and any of the marvellous cities inbetween. If in Scotland Edinburgh is probably a must and the city has a beautiful landscape in its own right. Tons of history and character.

If you stay in London , then you will find and endless list of things to do and see. There is just too much to see in one go, and people on visiting the UK get too consumed with their time in London , and miss out on everywhere else the country has to offer.

Ultimately the best thing too do is just go wherever offers the most interest to you, or the attractions that you have always wanted to see. Do a little research and see where you are drawn to.

I would save London for nearer the end of your trip so you dont neglect other places while your here, as once in London you will find their is enough to see and do to take up your whole month alone.

Good Luck.

I'd say Edinburgh is a must! The castle is amazing, you could easily spend a few days there. There is also Loch Ness where you could also spend a few days, you might even see the Loch Ness monster :) There are numours places in Scotland but these are my top two.

London is also a must! I love Big Ben, I always have to go visit when I'm down. Apart from London I have't been to England much but I have heard The Peak District and The Lake are stunning.

I would also say come in summer... alot of the sights in the UK are outsite so if the weather is not great then, well, you would get very wet and cold!
