We'll see what the weather is when we get there. I'm in California. Originally from Ecuador. Looking forward to chat w/Spaniards... their Spanish is so beautiful. From what you said, 25 degrees is very nice. In Quito it gets to that temp at noon. however, it is cool in the mornings. Is is like that in Barcelona? The funny thing is that in Quito you have to leave the house in the morning dressed in layers. How is the temp in Barcelona now?

Okay, so you´re used to hot temperatures.
No, it´s not like that in Barcelona. In the morning the temperatures can be quite good already, right now I wear a jacket in the morning or something but it´s definately not cold.

The temperatures differ, but now it´s mostly between approximately 16 and 20 degrees I guess.

And indeed, the Spanish language here is beautiful. Keep in mind that they speak Catalan in Barcelona, which differs quite a lot from the `normal Spanish.´ But of course, they also speak the normal Spanish and if you talk to them they will talk normal Spanish back to you. Everyone is very friendly!

Yep, temps get very hight here in So. Cal. And every summer it is getting hotter. I love it when it is cool in the morning and it starts warming up during the day. I figure that Barcelona will be around mid 20s in mid April. See, that's the problem about the clothes and stuff, that it is hard to figure it out. It is not fun to have to endure certain temps w/the wrong clothes, if you know what I mean.
I've never heard Catalan... however, I think that it is very nice that the locals change back and for from it to the normal Spanish. ANd it is also nice to know that they are friendly.
We'll be going to Rome for a few days and I read that at the hotel where we are staying, the staff is totally unfriendly... that they get annoyed when the guests asks them for help. I'm totally not so looking forward to that place. We'll see.
