I'm a little confused though....why are you so obsessed with toilet paper??

Hi. My name is Tamar and I first started posting in November of 2003. At first I did it for information about my upcoming trip to New Orleans and Mardi Gras, but once I got back, I couldn't stop. I tried quitting cold turkey in the summer of 2004, but once I got my job doing nothing, I fell off the wagon and have remained there firmly ever since. And I DO NOT REGRET IT! Gotta love TP (the web site, not toilet paper although I am grateful for the latter's invention!)!

I love this site because there are so many people willing to give good advice when you actually need it. I always check it every break I have and add what I can to help i guess. I've even got my mates involved now cos they're all off around the world too soon!

Yeah it's great. Much better than Thorntree I think. I've only been here about a week and I've got some many great tips and advice so far.

It's one things I like about travellers- there's no BS about most of them and they're really willing to share their experiences so that you will enhance your own. Most other people aren't like that, you know?

I suppose most dedicated travellers have a bigger vision and are generally more relaxed.

Anyway, really impressed with the site so far. Thanks everyone!

site during an information search. Upon arrival, I found I had information that helped someone else. Now, (to avoid fretting over what I may have forgotten to pack - leaving for Panama on 1-28) I check out different forums for fun. It's a great site and we will be keeping a diary and travel log while we're gone.

This is the best forum site I have ever stumbled upon!

why did you resign?

You've got me hunting for my old Prisoner videos now. All i then need is a video player...

I am not an addict. I can survive without it. I rarely post here anyway. I can leave whenever i want. Honest?

Cute one Samsara!!!
Mtlchica - I know what you mean. I just can't stay away. I've tried. Any break in the day and it's into the TP. Is there a help group yet for TPer's who just can't control themself?

I thought Belfast was supposed to be the "Dirty Old Town"...? Although I really liked it, myself.

The Pogues were referring to Sulphur when they wrote "Dirty Old Town"

I like this site because everyone here is friendly and there's no "attitude" or anything.
