I normally use Mozilla Firefox and was in the TP forums this morning for a while. Now whenever I navigate to a new page I just get an error message :( I can get in okay using IE at the moment though. Anyone else having problems?

Seems to be working again, so nevermind :)

I'm using FF also, and this morning I couldn't "manage" any of my blogs. It kept asking me to log in, yet I was already logged in. Weird. Seems to have cleared up now though. Maybe it's solar flares....

I think this might have been a cookie issue, maybe some kind of conflict between set cookies and new ones... there's been a lot of changes relating to the logging in to ensure everyone logs in over a secure connection, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's the reason. But let us know if they last for very long!!

If you visit a secure page (such as accommodation pages, or for me personally, every page I can) while your session has expired (?), you go through the login routine again, but then the redirect doesn't work correctly, ending up on a page like this one:
http://www.travellerspoint.com/https://secure.travellerspoint.com/forum.cfm?rows=50

The accommodation pages angle of that is the scary one; you might be losing some bookings because of that. (This has been this way for about a week now.)

I've just fixed this issue. Accommodation pages are only https (for most people) when you hit the booking stage - at that point you would normally already have your logged in session restored. Still, it was clearly a bug.

Hmm, most changes are already at least a week old by now, so I don't think cookies will be causing a problem. Then again, maybe the two week "remember me" cookie has some issues that I haven't considered.

Just closing and reopening your browser would generally fix any cookie related issues. If that doesn't, please let us know.

It's still buggy; I can't see exactly what's happening, and I don't have firebug installed here, but on first connect (to an https page), I see in my status bar: "connecting with www.travellerspoint.comhttps", and after that I get an error page from the local ISP. That seems to suggest there's a slash missing... :)

Darn it. Yeah, it would do that. Just put a fix up for that problem too.

Okay, I don't think it's just me...

For the last few days, I've answered thread posts and clicked preview. I don't get the preview, just an empty reply box showing up. Everything I wrote was completely lost. It just happened again for a post in NA. I emptied my cookies and cache on Wednesday hoping that would help. Nada. Now I have to reply a second time. (I should have done a copy/paste before hitting preview.)

I'm using Safari.

Yup, it's not just you. It happened to me too, when I previewed the post about not getting e-mail notifications. I thought the system had compatibility issues with IE9. The next day, I wanted to report it to Peter, but tried once more to make sure. But it worked fine again. So I thought it was just a temporary glitch.
