I think you can visit the Mozhaysk. This is a town situated near Moscow. There are some very ancient monasteries and churches. You'll spend a little time to travel, but it will be interesting. You can see some videos -snip-

3 day tour is the best. Some big tour companies in Moscow take you in a 13 seat minivan. Good accommodations. Was about 10 000R in April 07. Well worth it. See my Russian travel map for the name of the towns visited.
