Hey, just wanted to add that i was thinking about ending my trip in central america........is this advisable or worth it??? wouldnt mind a white beach for the last week or something!!!!!!
I am going to South America and had a hard time deciding on starting and ending points as well. When I was trying to decide, these were the routes I was considering:
Quito, Ecuador - Rio de Janiero, Brasil
Lima, Peru - Rio
Quito, Ecuador - Buenos Aires, Argentina
I ended up booking flights arriving in Quito and departing from Buenos Aires. These destinations were attractive to me because they were the farthest apart from each other with the lowest airfare (from the US). There are so many decisions to be made, I know it can be overwhelming. While, I have no actual experience in South America yet, I have been researching my trip for months, so feel free to contact me with questions. I've considered and looked into a lot of different options.
