Hi people hope your well.
Basicaly my name is Pete I'm 22 and I just left the royal navy and I'm a bit worried my life is gonna become very boring very fast but I have a plan.
My plan is to go from Birmingham (or just the uk) to Belarus and back without going through the same countries twice on a tight budget. I basically want to take the convenience of travel and present myself with a challenge so it's nematode and back by any means other than flying, I have a vague route but mornings set in stone, im open to sugestions I just don't want a boring trip I want a challenge.
I need a travel buddy
I don't wanna do this on my own really and I see it as a great opportunity to meet new people and make new friends so if your intrested send me a message and if your put of by anything iv mentioned please don't be discouraged I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks for reading, I hope to hear from you soon.
Predictive txt is Soo anoying!! Nematode is supposed to say belaruse , mornings should be nothing oh and it's ment to say take the convenience out of travel.
Thanks for the reply, only 3 years too late lol
Did you ever go on your trip, Pete?
Yeah but I did something slightly different. I traveled with a guy from Canada from this website. We went from the UK to Amsterdam where we acquired another travel companion then went to Berlin to cologne, to Prague to Vienna to Zagreb to zadar, then I went to Stockholm then back to Budapest for Azora festival then back to Stockholm then back to the UK. It's weird this guy commented on this thread now as I'm just about to start my next trip.
What's the next trip?
Australia on the 20th of January. Starting in Darwin NT, staying with a friend then going across in a van to Queensland, down the east coast to Sydney then New Zealand. Then who knows where. I'm going to be gone for a few years.
What's the castle behind you in your profile picture Kelly? If that's Edinburgh then this is seriously getting weird!
Brilliant trip! Still haven't been to Darwin myself and love the open-ended plan.
I'm in Edinburgh at the moment (do tell me the coincidence here?!) but the castle is Doune from 4 years ago.
