Hello, My family and I are planning a two week trip to Austria and Germany in July. We are 6 adults and two children ( ages 1 and 4) . Day 2 : Munich
Day3 : Munich
Day 4 : Drive to Salzburg o/v in salzburg
Day 5: Salzburg
Day 6: Salzkammergut / St. wolfgang/ lake fushcl. overnight in salzburg
Day 7 :Drive to Vienna.
Day 8 : Vienna
Day9 : Vienna
Day 10: drive to lingau ( Campingplatz Mauterndorf) . O/v in lingau
Day 11: Hallstat ( lake + Krippenstein) mountain . 0/v in lingau
Day 12 : Glossglockner road. o/ v in lingau
Day 13 : Drive to lindau via Innsbruck ( 2-3 hours). o/v night in lindau
Day 14 : lindau + lake constaz. o/v lake constaz
Day 15 : drive to munich and fly home

- is this plan doable?

-Are there any very beautiful mountains that we should not miss along or nearby this route?

Are there any other destinations nearby that we should not miss?

I would appreciate any comments and suggestions regarding this itinerary. Thanks

It looks quite doable, with possible time to shift ideas. A thing I could recommend is a visit to Neuschwanstein Castle, near Fussen (at the Austrian border), it looks a bit like the typical 'fairy tale' castle ;). It's about 120 km away from M√ľnchen.

It seems like a great trip!
