The world's most safest places are:

  • Austria
  • Canada
  • Denmark
  • Finland
  • Iceland
  • Japan - not necessary nowadays due to nuclear radiation :-(
  • New Zealand
  • Norway
  • Slovenia
  • Sweden

I would say most places are pretty safe these days. Where you go should be determined by where YOU want to go and what interests you have. Also take your budget into account as some places (especially those listed above) are a lot more expensive than others. Are you into any sports? Is there a type of music you love? Are you interested in history, a particular culture or nature. You should take all these into account before deciding where you travel.

I have been to England and found it to be safe. I think if you really take care of yourself, it doesn't really matter where you are. I checked out the timings by which i should be back in my hotel (hotel staffs helped a lot in finding good places and what things i can do there). So go ahead and visit a place that you have been longing to visit..
