I saw the other day that the Chinese were not real happy with the way the Japanese treated them during WW2, well I'm sure the Tibetans feel the same way about the Chinese right now. The only difference is the Japanese lost the war against the Chinese (with a lot of help, or maybe China would be part of Japan now), but the Tibetans have not been as fortunate as the Chinese were after WW2.

Make sure you'll comment after doing much research about those issues you embarked. According to most of the research, UXX is the one who tickled the issue between Japan and China/Korea/Hong Kong and SE Asia!

I think this forum is basically welcome for any ideas and suggestions regarding travelling but to certain extent, we should be responsible for every word we voiced out. I am not against your concern but somehow we do not get the real colour on how these contemporary world-leaders are bringing the world forward. IT'S NOT AS SIMPLE AS WHAT WE'VE SEEN. Say if you are living in multi-racial nation such as Malaysia with lots of different culture and value, you'll surprise the way different media (with different language)analysed an issue! They may seem similar in reflecting a statistic but THE ANALYSIS ARE SOMEHOW DIFFERERENT!

"A wise man won't do as what has done by Richard GXXXXXX who danced along with Japan's leader in front of media."

Best regards,

I'm in the process of uploading quite a few Nepal pix to My Photo Gallery . There's a well established backpacker industry there. Places such as Kathmandu, Pokhara, & Lumbini. It's all pretty funky. You can travel overland into Nepal from India or Tibet.

Hope to have all the pix uploaded within the coming week

ASIA, excluding the subcontinent of India and its South Asian neighbors.

I have not been to South Korea, Indonesia, and that new country, East Timor and if Taiwan is a country, then I have not been to 4.

Nepal is not much for backpackers?

Depends on your definition of backpacking. If its 24/7 parties then no. If it's out traveling on a a budget then yes it's a great place.
