Hello.

First of all, I'm new here, I've found this site browsing through the net and I've seen the people are really helpful!

So here are my thoughts:

I'll begin in Paris (05 to 08), then take a plane to Italy.

In Italy I intend to visit Rome (08 to 10) and Florence (10 to 12). Then take train to Switzerland.

In Switzerland I'll visit Luzern (12 to 14). Then take a train up again to Munich.

In Munich I intend to stay from 14 - 17. Then plane to Amsterdan.

Amsterdan from 17 to 19. Then plane to London.

In London from 19 to 22. Then plane to Madrid.

Finally in Madrid from 22 to 24.

Now, questions:

1- Is the train trip from Munich to Amsterdan any good or should I stick with the plane to get some extra time?

2- Should I rearrange to leave some time in Spain to visit Barcelona?

That's it guys.

I'm accepting suggestions from other places I could visit or some other way to arrange to whole trip.

I now it's very few days in each country but there's really nothing I can do. This is kinda of a lifetime opportunity and I think it will be good to know a little bit of every famous place, in case I have the chance to go to Europe again, then I now which place I like more.

Thanks!

The train from Münich takes about 7-8 hours, if you take the day train. You could also take a night train, which takes 12 hours, but that saves on a hostel/hotel. The plane would be quite a bit faster, though usually travelling by train is quite nice (in my opinion, that is, haha)
Plane will save you time (even more if you only bring hand luggage)

If you're in Amsterdam, I could recommend also going to a city like Leiden (30 mins. by train) or The Hague (40-50 mins. by train). Both are quite qorth a visit. A little less touristy, a bit smaller and also shows some typical Dutch sights, as the canals and such.
And if you're in Munich, I could recommend going to Neuschwanstein Castle. You could probably arrange a bus tour to the castle. Also nice to walk in the area surrounding the castle

Thanks a lot for those tips!

I asked about the train trip because, for example, from London to Paris, there isn't much to see. Maybe there is from Munich to Amsterdan?

Still accepting more recommendations!

I much prefer Barcelona to Madrid, so if there´s any way you can fit that in, I would try to. Otherwise, there are a lot of great daytrips from Madrid-Toledo, Segovia (my personal favourite), Salamanca...so you could always do that while staying in Madrid.

Sounds like an awesome trip!

Ok guys, thanks for the replies.

Anything else you could suggest me to change?

Thx!
