Hi all,

After drooling over the white sands of the Perhentian Islands for a few weeks now, I am determined to include them in my round the world trip. Can anyone tell me from experience whether it will be possible to turn up and find accommodation at the end of July/start of August?

Pulau Perhentian means "Stopover Island" and it is said that the islands got their names from fishermen who would find cover and stop at the islands in times of thunderstorm and bad weather.
