An Icelandic budget airline will start flying from to Iceland from Frankfurt. Tickets are about 95 euros I think.
This is not an advertisment, I just thought people wanted to know. I hope I'm not breaking the rules.
I wont post the name of the airline, but send me a message if you want to know more.

thats brilliant news !!!! thank you for the update, i've always wanted to go there but it alwsys seemed beyond my budget...

a few other questions about Iceland

are hostels / hotels / food / transport expensive ?

Thank you !

Almost everything here is expensive. I just checked one hostel, beds were from about 19 euros. That's in Reykjavik. It's most likely less expensive in the country. Food is expensive if you eat out a lot. Transport is expensive.
Any more questions, just ask. Have to run right now.

Hey Angela,

Can you post the name? I think you've been around here long enough to trust you as a good source ;)

Hey Angela

That's great - the last time I looked at flights to Iceland from London they were about 400 quid! Brilliant news. Where I live in the southwest of Ireland we can fly from a tiny little airport in the middle of nowehere to Frankfurt for as little as €5!!

Always wanted to go to Iceland for one of the music festivals.

Am a huge Sigur Ros fan.

THanks for the tip;)

Iceland Express do also fly from London and Copenhagen the whole year round. But this Frankfurt flight is just for the summer.
