Hello Travellers!!

My name is phillippa, im 19 years old, I have been in education all my life and I have worked hard to get the grades I have! However working constantly (im not at university, instead im undertaking an apprenticeship) I don’t earn a lot of money. So probably looking at going travelling with not a massive amount of money and hopefully work my way around the world.

I have to leave England, I have to get out and do something with my life, I want to see the world and hopefully find a place along the way to settle down. Im setting of at the beginning of January to find a new life that suits me and somewhere to settle down. Although I want to see as much as I can before hand.

What are the best places to go that have job opportunities?

I have only one family member, only one friend, and that’s my dog, ive had her since she was 2 weeks old, she’s now 7 years old, she means everything to me, and I cant leave her behind, has any one on here travelled the world with a dog as there travelling partner? Is it as difficult as I think its gunna be?

I wanted to start of in a campervan travelling as I thought it would be easier with the dog and so on, however I don’t know if I need a separate license to drive a campervan or if you have to be over 21. has any one done this?

Hi Philippa and welcome to Travellerspoint! I have no experience travelling with a dog, but I'd expect it's not easy, though where there's a will, there's definitely a way!! The hardest part about working while travelling is often the visa you need. In some countries there is no (easy) way to get a working visa, so you are rather stuck (or need to work illegally). Australia is pretty good for finding work at the moment, and the Aussie dollar is strong, so can be useful to earn in that before heading to other countries. It's also pretty easy to get a working holiday visa, and even a second one if you really like it.

what i suggest ... you are a british grl ... and wt ever u have as a kind of saving will be heavily enough for u to travel and find a job in india.. moreover u can have my help to get one as welll or without help as well .. coz india is booming and as a matter of fact u would be much appreciated as u hve british accent u can get a job very easily in here ..if u need any help feeel free to contact..
