Hi Steve ,
I am wondering why you suggested I should not travel alone in China. We have experience in travelling to many parts of the world . I find people generally very good and have helping nature to all tourists .
I thought the infrastructure is very good and I can travel alone by train between cities . And all big cities have decent and safe hotels .
Unfortunately I can think of no one who will accompany me for this trip.
Thanks for showing concern .
Will appreciate hearing from you about concerns you have
Hi Philip ,
Your proposal is a very interesting one but may not suit an Indian . We cannot go to any country of our choice without having valid visas and all that .So that does not make us eligible to drop from the sky to any destination we choose. Unfortunate but a real issue.
So wish you good luck with your adventure trip around the world.
I am sure you will find people who will be interested to join with you in your travel.
And surely you are doing this for a good cause .
All my best wishes

Yes , have your phone number , that will be useful for me.
I think sending e mail details through this post does not work.
Will call you sometime .
Thanks and with Regards
As it's busy season for travelling, you should book your hotels, train or air tickets earlier.
If there's anything I can do ,please feel free to contact me.I'm ready to help you!
You will have no troubles travelling through China on your own, but you will most likely find yourself paying single supplements along the way.
I think your itinerary is good, except for the Yangtze River Cruise. That area has been completely spoiled since the building of the 3 Gorges Damn and that the cruise itself is very regimented and touristy. Instead I would suggest heading to Yangshuo, which is one of the most beautiful places in China. You will have a much better experience!
It’s set right along the Li River, amongst towering karst mountains. There are also many things you can do here like riding bikes through the rice paddies, hiking Moon Hill, swimming or rafting down the river, cooking classes or just relaxing.
I hope this helps!
