Hi,

I'm a British citizen who will be visiting my family in Maine on the 20th July which I'll be getting a Visa Waiver for. We're also hoping to visit Quebec City in Canada and I'm wondering if I'll need to apply for another Visa Waiver for Canada? I'm just a bit confused as I read another post saying that when you get to the Canadian border you just have to state how long you'll be staying for, maybe show your passport and they'll let you through. But I want to make sure..anyone?

Thanks : )

Yeah, no visa nonsense needed for Canada (nor fingerprinting, nor needing to register your itinerary beforehand); you fill in some combined immigration/customs card, stating how long you'll be in the country for, and they just say "welcome to Canada, enjoy your stay".
