I'm headed to India in the New Year before moving on to South East Asia.
I don't really want to go to India on my own and my friends have no desire to travel so I have been looking at organised tour groups and think I have found a good tour with Intrepid called India Unplugged.
Has anyone been on this, or used Intrepid before , that could let me know a bit more about it/them? Or can anyone recommend a good organised tour agency to go with?
Many Thanks in Advance!
Intrepid may be an organizer based outside India . Have not heard of this one. May be you will find many travellers from outside India as companion .
If you have found a specific tour of Intrepid that you like , please go for it. I see they are on the expensive side.
Alternately , you need to decide how many days you want to be in India and decide on places you will like to visit . End of the year will be a good time to travel.
Picking up cities or places , travelling by train between cities , deciding on hotels etc are safe and easy . You can take many local daily tours that are available and very organized .
Good Luck with your travel.
Intrepid is a good tour operator but may be expensive.
Decide on the number of days you have for touring in India.
Once that is done........it will be wiser for me to suggest whether any group tours available.....
