Hi everybody,

I'm planning to visit Morocco this Oct/Nov and haven't booked accommodation yet. Can't make up my mind between hotels or vacation rentals. I've never been to Morocco before and don't know which is a better value for money. I'll appreciate if someone shares his/her personal experience with me. Thanks in advance.

If you use hotels, you can travel to different parts of the country.

Be aware that though things are presently quiet there, they could change:

Hi, I've been to Morocco 4 times already. I love this country. For 3 times, I've been in hotel. Last time, my friend had a great idea and she found a riad in Marrakech *SNIP* We were a group of 12 friends and we really enjoyed this experience. We are planning to do it again in September. The riad is located in the center of the Medina. The atmosphere there is really special. The room are comfortable; the riad has hamman (I really love it!), jacuzzi and massage. This is a great way to spend a vacation in Morocco, half way between hotel and apartment.

[ Edit: Sorry, no promos please. ]

hi,

oct/ nov is a good time, weather becomes nice, not that hot anymore, maybe some drops of rain or even snow..

about your accomodation. It depends what kind of hotels do you need and it depends what places you want to see, sometimes you can find basic hotels with even shared facilities, sometimes you can find very nice ones or luxury.. maybe if you have some itinerary, i can give you some idea.. otherwise just let me know what you want to see and maybe i can give you some good itinerary ;)

And about those protests, they're not effecting anything at all, they're just in some big cities here, but they're safe in general..
