Hi everyone
I'm heading out to aus in december / jan and i've heard these two bus companies are the most popular.
Can someone who has experience them give me some feedback as to which one to choose? greyhound look the cheaper option, but are there extras that i am missing out on?
Thanks, Alex.

Hey,

I'd say Greyhound all the way. Its so much cheaper, everyones in pretty much the same boat and you meet people at hostels anyway.

If having things organised for you is a main priority, there's backpackers travel agent companies (i.e. peterpans, tribal travel etc) that will sit down with you, make a itinerary, book you greyhound buses, flights, airport pick-ups, hostels and trips etc. so you dont have to. Although this probably costs a little more than it would if you booked everything yourself, it takes the stress out of it and means you can relax and enjoy yourself rather than having to faff about sorting things yourself. AND it's still a whole heap cheaper than Oz experience generally.

Have an amaaazing time! It's fairly hard not to :)
