Greyhound Bus Question

Travel Forums North America Greyhound Bus Question

So my husband is in a different state visiting family and I was just told my dad has a few days to live. He doesn't have any money on him and I know to change your schedule it's a $15 fee. So my question is...is it possible to pay that fee over the phone or can I go to the local station and pay the fee there? I'm desperate to get him home so he can be with me.

I would go to the local station and explain it to someone there. I'm sure they can quickly sort something out.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad.

I know that airlines will waive change fees when there is a death in the family. Greyhound may well do the same. I would go to the station and ask. If they will not waive the fee, they can probably still work out some way for you to pay it on your husband's behalf. If you have a credit card, I'm sure you can use that to pay and have your husband pick up the new ticket at his end.
