In light of the new situation in Myanmar i have decided that its time to travel there and see the beautiful country for myself. But. I do recognise that there are still problems there and want to make sure that my money goes to the people not the state and that I avoid state run buisness as much as I can.
I am just looking for some general information and tips to help me while I am there?
Any places people could recommend me staying/visiting in my 2 weeks?

Warmly welcome to visit Myanmar. Two week itinerary is good enough to visit for the first time and across the country, But many things to do travel inside Myanmar. Bus transport is the cheapest transportation in Myanmar and all privately own. It's comfortable and safe. For the sightseeing, you can use region transport, bike, horse court in Bagan. By Boat for the Inlay Lake sightseeing and By car in a round Mandalay. Myanmar is the best place to visit in SEA and meet real regional peoples, getting a round easily on your own. I am sure you will have wonderful time here.
