Video Upload

I am a new user on Travellerspoint and love this website. It is very easy to post and edit. However, the video uploader does not work. I noticed several older posts with people having problems also. Are you going to correct this or switch to another third party partner?

Hi justaroad, yes, this provider is not really working that well for us. We'd like to switch to Youtube at some point.

You can already upload photos through Youtube and embed them here as well. If you are having a lot of difficulty with the uploader at the moment, then I'd suggest giving that a go since it will be a lot more robust!

You can also use Vimeo or Flickr if you prefer, as we offer embed options for both of those. I'm rather partial to Vimeo's player myself

Hi there, I'm keen to embed my Vimeo videos onto my travellerspoint blog - can you please advise how to do this?

Hi Team W, just click on the video icon at the top of the entry, choose Vimeo as the supplier and fill in the video id in the input field that appears. There should also be a graphic when you choose Vimeo explaining where to find the video id in the URL.
