Saved Draft of an Already Published Blog Entry

Travel Forums System Talk Saved Draft of an Already Published Blog Entry

Hola Amigos!

I'm finishing up the TU cell phone blog entry. Instead of typing some stuff at the beginning, I copied and pasted from the previous blog entry (Let The Stars Be Your Guide). My (real land line) phone rang so I quickly saved the cell phone entry as a draft and closed out the window with the Stars entry I used for the copy/paste. Now looking at the manage area for TU, the published version of Stars is there but also a new draft version dated Aug. 4th. I've left it so you can see what I'm talking about. It's happened before with TU and with personal blog entries.

Obviously, I have deleted the redundant drafts when this has happened in the past. But I'm just curious why it's happening at all... Are we doing something to cause this? (It's happened for both Kris' and my personal blogs too.) I did not alter anything in the Stars entry - just a quick copy/paste procedure.

It's not a big issue though I am curious about it. Thanks!

Isn't this the same issue as Drafts saved of already published blogs?
*checks* Yeah, seems like this bug was reintroduced in the JavaScript.

Sam/Peter/Dmitry:
my_blogs.js, line 182, change
$('#ff_entry').keyup(
to
$('#ff_entry').change(

(Or was there a bigger issue with the previous fix which caused keyup to be put in there?)

Now where did I put those memory pills?? I'm the one who started that thread 8 months ago. I even wrote this one somewhat identically to the one linked above. Great minds think alike when they both reside in the same cranium.

I'll leave the draft in place for the moment unless someone recommends I go ahead and delete it.

Yesterday, I only checked the latest 3 pages of ST to see if there was another thread I could just comment in about the problem. Should have done a search instead.

Isa now wanders off aimlessly to finish up the TU blog entry...

I'm just wondering if this has been addressed yet or not. If so, I'm afraid it didn't work. If not, moot comment. The system did just save a draft of another already published blog for me though.
