Advice on moving to Europe?

Travel Forums Europe Advice on moving to Europe?

I'm a 17-year-old currently living in the U.S. with approximately $4,500 in the bank who is looking to move to Europe. I'm just trying to ask for advice on moving because I'm in my last year of high school and I'm starting to research how to prepare for it. I know specifically that I'll be wanting to go to Serbia eventually because of someone I know there. Could I go and adapt to things somewhat directly with just a high school diploma? I'm figuring I would, but would I absolutely NEED more money before I go? And how would the culture be? I just came here figuring I might get some help with my endeavor. :)

With your money in your bank, I think that's not enough but it's a great start. If you can live a simple life just yet, then you can start from the very basic... live in the simplest place, try to save some money and all. Europe's culture is also westernized but I think compared to US, it's much friendlier.

What could be a possible minimum as far as money before I went? Just a rough estimate.
