India Weather

I am looking at aprox 4 weeks in India start ing mid-Feb to Mid/late MArch 2011. I hope to hit both the North and the South (just skimming the surface of this vast country). Can anyone tell me if I am correct that I am going to miss the extreme weather? ie high/low temps/moonsoons?

I've been in the Jan - Feb period a few times and it was daily very hot (and nights too) and no sign of rain. I did go up north from Delhi to the Punjab border and that was very cold, with heavy snow further up.

You might try a side trip to Khajuraho to see the temples while there.
