Traveling with 3 girls during christmas and new years through Sydney and the east coast. We haven't booked our hostel yet, any good suggestions?? Or one's to stay away from?

Any other US (southern california) travelers going to be there the same time?:)

Hey, we had trouble with this a few weeks back ...

A friend said to look into Manly rather than OZ, we did and then booked there, as you can get a ferry across to Sydney.

I would suggest looking into that?!

Hope that helps?

We will be in OZ from 20th December so may see you about - 4 females :)

Thanks,

Karen

Hi Karen,

Thanks for the response! I think we actually may do a campervan now instead. And most likely Bondi Beach for new years! We'll be traveling around from Dec 21-Jan 17th.
We'll be on the look out for you!

Jessica

We're all staying at the Wake hostel on George Street..

There are so many on George Street.. By all accounts most people are staying there and many in the Wake..

But we've just booked and believe me, the hostels are getting full up every day.. Prices are very high too due to the time we're all going.

There are a couple on Bondi still available - Bondi Backpackers, Sinclairs Bondi, Lamrocklodge.. But none are too great.

On George Street u have the Wake, 790 on George, Nomads Westend Hostel, which have very little space- all very good

Then there are some in Kings Cross, but I could only find D*Lux seems ok and is not too pricey..

Good luck, don't leave it too late haha :-)
