I am going to india this September and October, and I need some help with planning my route.
I Fly into new Delhi and am going to Jaipur and then down to Mumbai for the Genash festival, I am then going back up north to Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Amristar, Spiti Valley, Rishikesh and Madhya pradesh.
This is where I need the help I want to go down to the most southern point where the 3 sea's meet and to Goa but Im not sure what to do on my way down to break up the train ride. Any idea's of things to see or places to stop would be great!! Thanks
South of India:
- Om beach at Gokarna and the historial town in Hampi are amazing in Karnataka state.
- The backwater area, the teafields around Munnar and the beach of Varkala are equally beautiful in Kerala state.
- Tamil Nadu also has several historical and religious sites and the nature in the area are bordering Kerala is as nice as in Kerala.
Thank you for your help!
Do you have any idea's for the Andhra Pradesh province? Or is that not as worth my time. I have no more then a week for this part of the trip. Thanks again
