Hi I am 28 and interested to visit Bali in September. I am looking for a nice travel buddy.
Hey Lucy and Nicola,
Your trips sound like so much fun!
Sydney is definitely a great place to start, and while i've never rv'd around Australia myself many of my family and friends have and it's a great way to see the country.
The Whitsunday's are pretty amazing too and you should check out Stradbroke Island and Byron Bay too if you love the beachy scene.
I live in Brisbane, QLD which is pretty awesome though depending on how long you're in the country for there is definitely more interesting places to go if you only have a limited time.
Ahh reading these makes me wana go soonerrr!!
My contract for my job ends on the 31st of october.. so tempted to go in november but the only thing holding me back is the panice of getting everything ready in time! ahhh!!
oo getting a visaa is easy then YES!
I think im going to plan for next year now.. unless i win the lottery HA! DEFINATLEY going tho 100%!
Lucy: Aw wow you pretty much want to vistit the same places as me! :D They all look so good! Im from cornwall in the UK! Lived here all my life an now i wana take off and see other places! I would want to try a bit of everything whilst staying out there i think.. working.. i wanna see all the different main attractions that people go there to see which is why i wana make sure i save up lots of pennies! I wana be able to stay in different places meeting new people wherever i go! :D Would love to maybe volunteer at a few places just to get a feel of everything really! XD Ah god i get so over excited thinking about it! Meeting up would be amazing but your going this year arnt you?! What made you decide about travelling then ?
Kali: Wow you live in brisbane! Lucky girlie! Are u originally from aussie then or did you move out there? Stadbroke island looks awesome! All the beaches over there are so clear and white! :D Im so soo scared about going solo you wouldnt believe!! How old are you? I was thinking of travelling for 6 months - a year! Depending how i go! im worried i wont ever want to come home again!!
yeah i've got my fingers crossed on winning the lottery too hahah :P
Yep aussie born and bred Stradbroke is my favourite place in australia i reckon! and it's sooo easy to get to from brissie! Aw i would be scared too, but I reckon it's awesome you girls are planning on getting out there on your own! I'm 21, you? That's a great amount of time to see Australia if you are planning on working/volunteering during part of it. haha why go home when you can see the world? Are you thinking of staying in hostels and backpackers? If you're into the whole couch surfing thing, if i'm in the country at the time you come i'd be happy to lend you a couch
Im 20. Iv never actually heard of 'stadbroke'!! But i took a peek on the net and it looks nice!!
I never actually do the lottery so i dont think i will be winnning anytime soon I think i may start doing it tho :P !
I was thinking 3 months but i dont feel thats long enough so deffo 6-12 months!
I think im going to be the palest girl in aussie when i arrive hehee!!
Ive never been tanned and probs never will as i just burn!
Yeah i was thinking hostels, backpackers and anything really to add to the adventure!
Wow thankyou for the couch offer! sounds fantastic!! Do you have a flat of your own then?
Its raining so hard here at the moment! boo!
Im going on the 24th november, landing 26th november in sydney looking to surf around oz,id love to buy a camper! Had one not long ago and it was amazing!! just driving around and surfing parking on the beach.
Get in touch if you fancy meeting up,Im hopefully meeting up with someone iv already met on here and im super keen to get going now!
Well you could definitely do it in 3 months, but if you want to go slow and thoroughly enjoy its a good idea
haha don't worry you wont' be the only pale person! There's plenty of untanned people here - my friend Kat is one of them - she has to wear soo much suncreen :P Apparantly when she went to greece last year she said she actually tanned, the sun isn't as strong as it is here or something?
No worries yeah i have my own little flat though i'm moving into a house with kat soon. I've always want to host a couch :P
aw yeah its raining here too actually which sucks though its starting to clear up. Does it rain a lot where you are? I'm hoping to visit the uk in 2 years.. do the whole europe tour thing.
