cheapest way to get from Amsterdam to Charleroi by train?

I feel stupid having to ask this, but I guess I really don't know:

Can anyone tell me what's the cheapest way to get from Amsterdam to Charleroi (Belgium) by train? I remember there was some sort of trick to do this cheaply...

Hi Niels,

Thalys goes from Amsterdam to Bruxelles Gare du Midi. From there you can change to local train for Charleroi (they depart in every half an hour).
