You will have to check on UK flights, but I doubt you can fly to KUL or SIN w/o stopping somewhere.
You can fly direct from London to Kuala Lumpur and from both London and Manchester direct to Singapore. Air Asia fly from KL to Hanoi and Jetstar fly Singapore to Hanoi.
Becky, this is why you get paid the big bucks on TP!! Well, that and once living in Manchester! It seems our boy Dan is on a tight budget. I am guessing the direct flights are a bit more dear than stopping in Dubai.
True? By the by, when are you coming to the exciting city of LAS VEGAS? You have a free room and free shows when you turn up. Mike
I suppose it just depends on what deals are around at the time, but Emirates do often have good prices via Dubai. I'll send you a PM re Vegas.
You can fly Air Asia direct to KL. I just did it twice this year, both times for around $600us. The Tax from the UK is the killer, that was $200 of the total fare. Although I'm starting wonder if this tax thing isn't a scam by the airlines. Ive noticed when searching that the tax changes drastically on flights on different days.
From KL you can fly cheap into Vietnam also via Air Asia, last year I got a flight for $25.
