I am moving to Oz in Janaury as I'm starting a job in Brisbane at the end of the month....I was hoping to do abit of travelling for a few weeks in Jan before heading to Brisbane...not sure what routes etc yet but am open to suggestions! Would love to meet up with some fun laid back people on the way!
(last post said west coast..I meant east!!!)
There's really only one way to go from Brisbane in January, and that's south: escape the humidity from the wet season. I'd recommend either just following the coast south to Sydney, or maybe flying to Adelaide and then making your way to Melbourne via the great ocean road, and on to Sydney from there.
Or if you like hiking, I could recommend hopping over to Tasmania and Cradle Mountain National Park.
Thank you, that sounds great...I think flying into Adelaide, then the great Ocean Rod would be amazing...going to do more research now- thanks!
