Has anyone one here ever encountered a wierd sight or tour while travelling? Like maybe a random giant fruit statue on the side of the highway? Or a dozen skydyving Elvis impersonators? Maybe a musuem made up of some guy's old sandwiches?

We saw a sign advertising "Granpa's Cheesebarn" in Ohio! Does that count?

That reminds me of a roadside sign in New Orleans announcing a new development of "Cretin Homes".

a pet shop sign which read "All birds going cheap", Singapore.

A church sign reading "Come join us for Sun. worship!", London.

Delhi restaurant that claims to be "open seven days a week and weekends"

Prehistoric-sized lobster (full color replica) - Islamorada Key, Florida
Giant (hanging) strawberry - Strawberry Point, Iowa
Paul Bunyan & Babe (The Blue Ox) - Duluth, Minnesota

Driving to Portobello - being "flagged" down by 3 Policia Nacional officers standing on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. We were sure we and our belongings were going to be searched, but the ranking officer only wanted a ride to the local police station. He spent the 20 minute trip pointing out property for sale and quoting the prices. (Portobello, Panama)

I saw a llama get sacfificed to the Pachamama, or Earth-Mother, while in Bolivia.
