There is a gopher museum in Alberta ;) ? not sure if it is still around but I saw sign for it on the highway a few years ago.

I saw a llama get sacfificed to the Pachamama, or Earth-Mother, while in Bolivia.

Not the llamas!!! nooooooo

like sam i also saw a giant pineapple, this time in queensland, australia!! also in alice springs, australia a parking sign said that "camels, horses and coaches" were excepted there!!

haha!! In Cornwall-the giant green man-forgotten what he's called-it's on hills (hill) and its a giant man, naked-apparantly he's supposed to be for fertillity!

In Biesiker Alberta Canada...ya there's a giant skunk, it's actually kinda cute, looks like a little girl skunk holding a flower, but still it's a skunk

No prob! (glad you enjoy it!) I figured it would be cool to hear about the oddities of the world...as opposed to the normal tourist attractions.

As for me, I found this very odd piece of art in a back-alley square in Berlin, Germany. It was a bolder that must have been 50 feet tall, and was painted red, blue and yellow. It had chairs attached to it with rope. Very odd.

A couple things I found funny... When driving to Ottawa, you pass by a lot of farms. In the middle of nowhere was a make-shift sign that said "Sushi" and had an arrow. It made me laugh because all you could see for miles was cows. In Ottawa, there was a sign behind a building that said "Don't even think of parking here" and a care was parked underneth it. That was also giggle-worthy.

Watched a sky buriel in China.
They cut up the dead monk and the vultures eat him.
If they don't eat him all it means he commited an unrepented sin :(
