I am 24 and will be traveling with my 85 year old grandmother on a 12 day cruise around Northern Europe this summer. I am looking for other options besides the cruise regulated excursions. Walking must be limited die to my grandmothers age. Any help would be great. Our Ports of Call are as follows:
Le Havre (Paris), France
Belfast, Northern Ireland
Greenock (Glasgow), Scotland
Thanks in advance for your help!
God.....is she really 85 ?? This reminds me of my granny who was not even 80 and she died less than a month ago . I wish I still could see her alive , 'coz I was my granny's pet until the day she died. Sorry...didn't mean to make this a grievin' post , enjoy ur tour dude . I bet , northern europe is a beautiful place and I would travel there someday ..
I don't know when you will be travelling but there are lots of tours to do on the way. I know Scandinavia myself, both Bergen and Flåm have excursions available not arranged by the cruise lines. Geiranger and Hellesylt are rather limited resources available I think so it would be difficult to get anything except the regular ones I think.
Well we will be traveling late July early August. Any tips as to where online to find the info for these excursions? Thanks
